This Sunday, according to the church calendar, is Trinity Sunday. This is a time to remember the triune nature of God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. It is also the Sunday before Memorial Day, when as a country we remember those who have died in the service to our nation. We will have a time in our worship service to remember and honor those who have given their lives for our freedom. Because of them we have the freedom to worship our triune God.

My sermon will be based on Romans 5:1-5 and is titled "In Grace I Stand."
This past Sunday was great!!! We had a confirmation breakfast then we confirmed 9 young people and baptized 1. My Son did an amazing job playing his classical guitar in the service and we had 181 in worship. They you then had a successful bake sale to raise money for their U.M.A.R.M.Y mission trip.

Pentecost

This Sunday is Pentecost when we remember Acts 2, the Holy Spirit descending on the apostles. We will also confirm 9 young people in their faith this Sunday and baptize one. My message will be "The Power of the Holy Spirit" from the second chapter of Acts. And one exciting treat, for me especially, is my son, Kris, we be with us and will play his classical guitar in church.
